From Dream to Reality. Choosing Our Vanlife Home

There are moments in life that feel like true turning points. Days that divide the before from the after. For us, deciding to chase vanlife was one of those moments.

When we first met, one of the things that brought us together was a shared love of the vanlife movement. We’d spend hours scrolling through Instagram feeds, imagining what it would be like to wake up by the ocean, cook meals under the stars, and explore Australia with nothing holding us back but the horizon.

The appeal was simple but powerful. It was all about Freedom. Freedom from rigid routines, from too much stuff, from the ordinary. We both craved a lifestyle where the road itself was part of the adventure. A chance to chase sunsets, discover new communities, and truly live in the moment.

We're also realistic in our expectations that the lifestyle of living in a van in parts of our amazing country offer many challenges that we don't see every day on an instagram feed and thats ok.

What started as a “someday” dream soon became a serious plan. And that plan needed the right van.
